The different TVR Tuscan models produced were as follows:
- 3.6L Mk1: 350 BHP, 290 ft.lbf
- 4.0L Mk1: 360 hp, 310 ft.lbf
- 4.0L Mk1 Red Rose: 380 BHP, 310 ft.lbf
- 4.0L Mk1 S (pre-2003): 390 BHP, 310 ft.lbf
- 4.0L Mk1 S (post-2003): 400 BHP, 315 ft.lbf
- 4.0L Mk2 (post-2005): 380 hp, 310 ft.lbf
- 4.0L Mk2 S (post-2005): 400 BHP, 315 ft.lbf
- 4.0L Mk2 Convertible (post-2005): 380 hp, 310 ft.lbf
Note: BHP figures quoted above may vary from car to car.
Some dealers (and even private sellers) have been incorrectly advertising their Tuscans as 'S' specification cars. Be sure to check that the car you're looking at is infact the correct type.
4.0L Mk1 (3.6L, Standard and Red Rose)

Removable targa roof panel and rear screen, 16" alloys on standard (although usually upgraded to 18"). Airconditioning, larger front brakes and bigger bore engine on Red Rose version.
4.0L Mk1 S

Removable targa roof panel and rear screen, bigger bore engine producing more BHP than standard (pre 2003: 380-390bhp, post 2003: 400bhp), better suspension setup, gas-discharge headlights, close-ratio gearbox, larger drilled-disc brakes at front, airconditioning, front splitter, rear spoiler, different rear light layout from standard, 18" alloys, DAB radio, 'Tuscan S' badge at back.
4.0L Mk2 (Standard and S)

Removable targa roof panel, new style front grille, covered front light cluster, new style dash layout, different rear light layout, 18" alloys, DAB radio. On S version there's a bigger bore engine producing more BHP than standard, better suspension setup, gas-discharge headlights, close-ratio gearbox, larger brakes at front, airconditioning.
4.0L Mk2 Convertible

Convertible fold-down roof with removable roof panel, new style front grille, covered front light cluster, new style dash layout, different rear light layout, 18" alloys, DAB radio.
